The Sporran Scottish Pub was fast gaining
a reputation as the best and cheapest Scottish Pub in Praia da Rocha,
Algarve, in fact it was the 1st and only Scottish Pub in Praia da Rocha!
But now to be serious, The Sporran pub was only opened in 2008 but
although it was originally a great success in the fact that it has attracted
not only the Scottish, but people from all over the world have come
to sample the well known Scottish Hospitality (and the excellent beers) it's no longer The Sporran Scottish Pub but now trading as MOJO.
In The Sporran Pub there were no strangers, only friends we had yet
to meet!
Unfortunately Alfie from Glasgow the
Karaoke presenter, and unoffficial dogsbody, left to go and work in Germany (Sporrans loss, Germany's
gain).
you could see live sports, we showed all the main
football games, but most important of all we showed the Scottish games.
Behind the bar we had extremely friendly staff ready to greet you
with a big smile, serve you a drink and perhaps even sing a song or
two on the karaoke.
